….and so north again, past Slioch and Loch Maree and up toward Gairloch and Poolewe before heading out along the west side of Loch Ewe.
Here we were to find the best rough camping spot imaginable. A tin box asking for Â£2 and the whole of an empty bay to choose your spot. We hadn’t planned to stop here but you just couldn’t move on and with the weather so wild it was perfect. I was to spent the most exhilarating hour here with camera in hand, an hour I’ll never forget, but more of that in the next post.
