When was the last time you took a vacuum cleaner to your camera bag? I know it sounds a little odd but after each trip out into the landscape with the cameras I always clean the camera bag out thoroughly. Dust and bits of grit are a nightmare for photographers and can ruin expensive pieces of equipment. With many digital cameras dust will also collect on the sensor and create problems that manifest themselves in the form of dust specs and grease blobs on the images themselves. Cleaning sensors can be a tricky business and one you don’t want to be doing too often. I use the Green Clean System when I need to clean the sensors, it’s a combination of a suction tube and wipes. But by regular vacuuming you can avoid so much hassle!
