So here’s the set from the last post but in black and white, with a hint of selenium. Think I know which one I’m going with. The colour set can be seen here.
You’ll be going with the black and white – because I know you too well! Hmmm, I’m less convinced and like both. I think the ones with the big skies work well in b&w and I think the strongest of the b&ws is the one with The Oa as a backdrop. The latter three work better in colour for me – but it’s all very personal, isn’t it??!!
Yep you know we well! B&W it is for me, more atmosphere and the central part of each image (the geese) are not competing with a classic landscape. Less given here, ie: stripping the colour, equals more, but of course in any poll of both photographers and non photographers you’d get split opinions.
