Two of the specialities of Dinas are the Redstart and the Pied Flycatcher, both in good numbers on and around the reserve.
If you can find a spot outside of the actual wooded area to photograph them it’s a lot easier as the parameters are far better on the fringes of the wood than inside. It can be as much as four stops difference, so it’s worth searching a bit to locate the birds in more favourable lighting conditions.
