Luing Day 1 – Part 2

The Rain Gives Way

In the afternoon we explored the area to the south of our cottage, again in rain.

Folk visiting are encouraged to add a slate or two to the growing cairns appearing all over the island

As the afternoon wore on and the light began to drop, which it was doing by 4.30pm at this time of year, a gap in the clouds appeared to the west and lit the island up with a rich autumn light.

The sun found the small gap in the clouds which briefly lit up the island in a red rich light
