First Morning in the Rain
Luing, in Argyll, in November 2023 was the destination for Brendan and my working week to gather material, me landscape and birds and for Brendan a source of inspiration for his paintings.

Last of the winter thrushes
Up on the mountain road yesterday, between Bridgend and Maesteg, I came across six fieldfares and a redwing, a little further on and a small group of mistle thrushes were feeding in the short grass.
